Senior Auditor

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Planning and managing all aspects of audits.

  • Planning, execution and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs.

  • Ensuring work is prepared in accordance with Firm’s policy and standards.

  • Reporting results of work performed to the management.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Possessing or working towards the obtainment of a Professional Qualification ACCA/ACA will be considered an advantage

  • At least three years’ experience within Audit. Experience in the audit of construction companies will be considered an advantage

  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written

  • Good attention in detail and strong organizational skills

  • Professional with excellent communication skills

  • Diligent, methodical, devoted and able to work under pressure

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel/Word. Knowledge in auditing software Caseware will be considered an advantage

  • Maintaining accounting records in accordance with International Accounting Standards

  • Work closely with managers and staff to meet department objectives

  • Be responsible for all other duties ancillary to this accounting position as may arise from time to time

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Perform secretarial duties including typing letters and reports

  • Answering and forwarding phone calls & emails

  • Receive and deliver messages

  • Welcome visitors

Requirements

  • A person with pleasant personality and excellent telephone manners and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English. Any other language will be considered an advantage

  • Microsoft Office literate

  • Customer focus and attention to detail

  • Previous reception experience is preferred but not necessary
